It had been my wish to travel all of Pakistan and see every part of it. My urge intensified after meeting couple of travelers: Ludovic Hubler from France who traveled the world by hitchhiking and Alex Kaselin who traveled from Australia to Switzerland on bike and of course not to forget Daniel who came over his four wheeler from the UK. These friends inspired me to travel all over Pakistan if not the world.
So began the planning for the trip, the mode of travel, the destinations and the objectives to achieve out of this trip.
For mode of traveling, motorbike was the ideal option. Deciding on the destinations was a bit tricky as we wanted to make sure we see the whole of Pakistan and don’t miss out on any city/village on the way. The objective of the trip – to discover different cultures, languages and meet people from all across the country along with projecting Pakistan as a safe place to travel and promote domestic tourism.
The tour was planned and the idea discussed with the MD TDCP (Tourism Development Corporation Punjab) who was equally excited by the plan. A MoU was signed with TDCP for the collaboration on the project and so started the tour.
On World Tourism Day, we left Lahore for Khunjerab. Our tour will take us from Khunjerab to Torkham and our excitement increases each minute as we go further in our tour.
The whole tour will be documented for a private cable channel to be aired. 52 episodes in total covering the whole of Pakistan from Khunjrab Sost (China border) all the way to Torkham (Iran border).
A food lover, a sports follower, die-hard Prince fan and a technology geek, currently I am touring on my motorbike all over Pakistan exploring different cultures and meeting wonderful people along the way. If you would like to meet me when in your city, email me and maybe we could have a chat.

Has anything happened here? Keen to hear about renting bikes in Islamabad please.
